Art by  Kris Soete

Based on the popular comic books by Willy Vandersteen, 'Suske en Wiske' is a proof of concept for the Art in Numbers series.

3675 paper cones, made from comic book pages, were combined to reveal the image of the comic's main characters Suske and Wiske (aka 'Willy and Wanda', 'Bob & Bobette', 'Spike and Suzy', 'Luke and Lucy').

The work measures 169 x 152 x 6.5 cm (66.5 x 59.8 x 2.5 in) and is licensed by publisher 'Standaard Uitgeverij' for public exhibition and sale.
